Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Location: Near Norwich, Norfolk Hours: Full-time Term: Permanent Salary: From £53,000 per annum excellent company benefits Hales Group are recruiting for a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our client’s engineering team at a modernised, large-scale production facility in Norfolk. Our client is committed to operational excellence and has recently invested heavily in site upgrades and automation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability and safety of electrical and control systems across the plant. Key Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems in a complex industrial environment. Carry out 3-phase electrical distribution, installations, calibrations, and fault diagnosis. Support plant upgrades, modifications, and commissioning projects. Perform planned inspections and proactive maintenance while ensuring strict safety compliance. Collaborate with mechanical, process, and control teams to optimise plant performance. Candidate Profile Level 3 qualification (HNC/NVQ 3 or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control. Proven experience in large-scale industrial installations. Strong diagnostic and technical problem-solving skills. Safety-conscious, team-oriented, and adaptable. Flexible to work shift-based or day-based patterns as required. Candidates with a bias toward either Electrical or Instrumentation will be supported with cross-training. Interested?
