Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Credit Controller will include:
* Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
* Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients as required.
* Proactively follow up on outstanding payments to reduce overdue debt.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
* Prepare detailed reports on credit control activities and account statuses.
* Collaborate with internal departments to address client queries promptly.
* Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies.
* Support the Accounting & Finance department in meeting financial objectives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Relevant experience within credit control or a similar accounting role.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues.
* Problem-solving capabilities to manage payment discrepancies effectively.
* A professional and organised approach to workload management.
* Knowledge of the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry is desirable but not essential.
