Overview
We are looking for self‑motivated, energetic, and creative clinicians with substantial, relevant mental health experience and up‑to‑date professional registration from a core mental health profession (nursing, OT, or social work). This role plays a vital part in transforming community mental health services in Brighton and Hove by bridging gaps between GPs, voluntary sector, and secondary tier services.
Responsibilities
* Build partnerships and work flexibly, adaptively, and creatively within growing, locally focused teams.
* Deliver assessments face‑to‑face and digitally, including risk assessment and support planning.
* Work autonomously with lone‑working elements, supported by a team leader, PCMHP colleagues, and other service staff.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as GPs, secondary services, and non‑statutory organisations.
* Adapt to changing service demands in an evolving primary care landscape.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Substantial, relevant mental health experience.
* Up‑to‑date professional registration in a core mental health profession (nursing, OT, or social work).
* Excellent clinical skills in assessment, risk assessment, and support planning.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work flexibly in care delivery.
* Desire and ability to meet changing service demands and work autonomously.
