Position: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Charge Nurse on the Isle of Cumbrae - North Ayrshire HSCP, including Lady Margaret Hospital and the Community Nursing Hours and Shift Pattern: 37 hours per week, hours will be worked on a rotational shift pattern of day and night shifts with weekend commitment. This post is offered on a permanent basis. What you will do: Lady Margaret Hospital consists of 10 beds which accommodate emergency respite end of life and palliative care the hospital also provides an A&E /minor injury service, however part of this role will include community services and day hospital on the Island. As a Deputy Charge Nurse you will support the Doctor, ANP, & Senior Charge Nurse within a dedicated multidisciplinary team. E xcellent communication and interpersonal skills along with time management is essential. You will be required to work effectively with the multidisciplinary team ensuring evidence based practice and the highest level of care. You will have a key role in required to provide safe, effective person centred care at all times. Driving Licence/Car Ownership: A current driving licence/car ownership is essential for this role.
