We require knowledge of supporting toolsets such as DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, Cameo Systems Modeller, Rhapsody, MATLAB, and Simulink. We prefer experience with PYRAMID and modular open systems architecture. We prefer experience developing avionics and mission systems. We prefer a strong understanding of modular open standards principles. We prefer model-based systems engineering experience. We can only consider Sole UK National candidates who are eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. Responsibilities: We help guide the scope and direction of engineering projects. We deliver technical consultancy expertise across a variety of customer projects, from air to sub-surface. We support systems engineering activity across the design lifecycle. We develop proposals and statements of work. We engage with customer representatives to identify opportunities and support delivery. We attend internal management and strategy meetings. We act as a technical authority and mentor to early career engineers. We guide junior engineers in project delivery where needed. We communicate with external stakeholders at a high level and feed information back into the business.
