Join the role of (Senior) Developer / Integration Developer (.NET) – EPR Integrations (f/m/d) at Harris Computer
Are you ready to build secure, reliable healthcare integrations that make a real difference? Do you love turning complex interface requirements into elegant, maintainable code? As a Senior Integration Developer focused on EPR integrations, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that critical patient data flows seamlessly between Electronic Patient Record (EPR) platforms and the wider healthcare ecosystem.
What You Will Do
* Design and implement .NET-based integration services and APIs connecting EPRs with internal and third‑party systems.
* Build and maintain message flows and transformations for HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR (R4/R5) standards.
* Integrate with NHS systems such as Spine, MESH, GP Connect, eRS, and PDS/SDS using secure, standards‑based methods.
* Implement event‑driven architectures and messaging patterns (e.g., Azure Service Bus, queues/topics, webhooks) ensuring idempotency and resilience.
* Own the full SDLC: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and observability.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, QA, DevOps, and client technical teams.
* Provide third‑line engineering support for live integrations.
* Lead design reviews, mentor other developers, and drive continuous improvement in integration practices.
What We Are Looking For
* Proven experience delivering integrations using C# /.NET in production environments.
* Hands‑on knowledge of healthcare interoperability, including HL7, FHIR, and RESTful APIs.
* Strong SQL skills and comfort with transactional performance tuning.
* Experience with Azure (or equivalent AWS environment).
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
* Understanding of secure integration in regulated environments (TLS/mTLS, secrets management).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail into clear, business‑focused updates.
* Organised, proactive, and quality‑driven, with a focus on clinical safety and compliance.
* For Senior Level: Experience leading designs and guiding engineering efforts across multiple integrations.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with interface engines (e.g., Mirth, Rhapsody, IRIS Health Connect).
* Knowledge of API design standards, SMART on FHIR, or GraphQL.
* Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and NHS clinical safety standards (DCB0129/DCB0160).
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery environments.
