Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Operative Role:
Prepare, pack, and label products and components for internal and external transportation
Validate batch numbers, part descriptions, and quantities against the company's systems
Ensure all goods are packed according to instructions, with appropriate labelling and addressing
Liaise with the Logistics team and Shipping clerk to ensure timely dispatch of goods
Undertake self-inspection and quality checks of your work
Develop competency in a variety of multi-skilled duties within the Stores department
Accurately pick, pack, and issue materials, goods, and stock from the Stores areas
Assist with internal transportation, including the use of forklift trucks and other equipment
What We're Looking For:
Basic experience in a stores or warehouse environment
Ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities
Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Structured and methodical working style, with good interpersonal skills
Strong team player with a solid work ethic
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
