KS1 & KS2 Supply Teacher
Location – Southampton
Contract – Full Time
Start Date – January 2026
We are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and committed KS1 & KS2 Supply Teachers to support a range of friendly primary schools across Southampton. Working closely with our partner schools, we ensure pupils continue to receive high-quality, engaging learning in the absence of their class teacher.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Recent experience teaching across KS1, KS2 or wider primary settings
* A positive, calm and flexible teaching approach
* Strong behaviour management and the ability to build quick rapport with pupils
* Reliability, professionalism and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
* Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2
Your Key Responsibilities
* Delivering set lessons and maintaining pupil engagement
* Ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences
* Creating a positive, well-managed classroom environment
* Settling quickly into different school settings and following school routines
* Supporting pupil's progress, well being and enjoyment throughout the day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
