What the role involves
* Teach Sociology to students from Year 10 to Year 13 with a focus on delivering exceptional teaching and learning.
* Possibly teach a second Humanities subject (ideally History or Citizenship); other secondary subjects may be considered.
* Benefit from 50% additional non-contact time above standard PPA to facilitate engagement with improving teaching pedagogy.
* Contribute to the continual improvement and refinement of Humanities teaching within a vibrant Faculty.
* Join one of our Houses or Quest 6th Form as a Form Tutor and help students settle and develop learning attributes for active learning.
Who we are looking for
* Passionate about teaching Sociology with the ability to share enthusiasm with students.
* Capable of building strong relationships with students and families to maximise engagement and learning.

About the school and trust
The Quest Academy is part of The Collegiate Trust, a family of 8 schools in the Croydon and Crawley areas. The Central Team is based at Riddlesdown Collegiate, a high-performing secondary school in Croydon.
