a proactive Load Bay Planner to join our fast-paced team and help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Maintain a high level of system housekeeping and work efficiently to agreed timescales.
2. Allocate trailers and manage bay loading and offloading schedules.
3. Accurately enter data into the in-house computer system.
4. Communicate effectively with customers via telephone and email.
5. Manage goods in transit paperwork and ensure documentation is up to date.
6. Support Shift Managers and the Site Manager as required.
7. Provide clear and concise daily handover reports.
8. Manage subcontractor drivers and liaise with external hauliers.
9. Prepare all necessary paperwork for both internal and external transport partners.
10. Deliver excellent service to all internal and external customers.
11. Carry out general office duties and support colleagues during absences.
12. Plan MOTs for trailers and ensure compliance with schedules.
13. Adhere to all company policies, including dress code, performance standards, and health & safety.
