As an experienced property professional you are comfortable in all scenarios and relish being an important and integral part of a busy and vital business operation. As the senior point of contact within the M25 (North/West/East London) you will become the ‘expert’ across the range of estate agency products that our client offers and their associated systems. Day to day you will be responsible for a team of 12 photographers ensuring the highest quality from the team and the services that they provide. This is a fast‑paced environment which will fully utilise your planning and organisational skills to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the region. With excellent training, ongoing development and superb mentoring from the senior management team, you will quickly assimilate to your new role and add value. As part of the management team you will conduct regular team reviews, strategic planning and focus on the future recruitment of photographers for your business. Accustomed to working with KPIs you will support and motivate your team to achieve and exceed their forecasts and constantly be seeking ways to improve the regional contribution performance. This role would suit experienced estate agents, preferably with management experience who have a keen ‘eye for detail’, process and analytics to help maximise the quality and output for our client’s highly regarded B2B brand within the property industry.
Responsibilities for this Area Manager role will include:
* Responsible for the quality of the people and the product.
* Coach and mentor the team of 12 photographers.
* Be the ‘subject matter expert’ on the full range of products, soft skills and associated systems.
* Senior point of contact at ground level.
* Manage area operations to ensure service levels, standards and procedures are achieved.
* Point of contact for clients and customers.
* Act on any concerns or issues raised promptly.
* Manage annual leave and sickness cover.
* Provide KPIs on photographer performance.
* Conduct progressive meetings and reviews.
* Offer training, support and development.
* Recruitment of new photographers.
* Ensure Health and Safety of the team is observed at all times.
* Liaise with Head of Training with any employee issues to create effective solutions.
* Monitor and manage the photographers’ workload and prioritise organisational issues.
Skills & Experience for this Area Manager role:
* Preferably management experience.
* Analytical and comfortable working with KPIs.
* Building stakeholder relationships with colleagues and clients.
* Ability to support, mentor and develop those within your team.
* Professional presentation at all times and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
* Ability to identify and address performance issues effectively.
* Comfortable conducting one‑to‑one meetings and reviews.
* Able to provide effective feedback and create realistic action plans to resolve performance issues.
* Positive and enthusiastic problem solver.
