At our Care Home, you will be responsible for running the kitchen and meal experience for our elderly residents.
By creating and preparing a varied and nourishing menu, you’ll directly support the wellbeing of our residents and make a genuine difference to their quality of life.

Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for our residents’ meal experience and running the nursing home’s kitchen. Leading and supporting a team, you will:
* Designing a varied menu that reflects our residents’ tastes and supports their nutritional needs.
* Ensuring mealtimes are always a high-quality experience.
* Maintaining the highest food standards.
* Supporting, training and directing the kitchen team
* Mentoring and motivating on quality, safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
* Assisting the General Manager in developing and managing the budgetary, human and material resources within the department.
Who We Are Looking For
* You should have recent experience of cooking for large numbers in a commercial setting.
* You must have previously managed and motivated a catering team.
* You’ll have experience of providing food for people with special dietary requirements.
* We’d like someone who is flexible, who can work alternate weekends.
* An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
