Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) and Police Personnel Vetting (PPV3) is required. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 consecutive years' UK residency or working history.
The Role In a Nutshell
This is deep, hands-on network engineering, not an infrastructure or cloud IT role. You'll be the technical authority on a live, business-critical managed service running 24x7x365 for a high-profile UK enterprise customer: leading the troubleshooting on the toughest incidents on complex data networks, leading the room when P1s hit, and owning the customer relationship face-to-face, including the difficult conversations when things go wrong.
This isn't a NOC ticket-queue job, and it isn't a step away from the tools into management. It's the blend in between: 3rd line depth, P1 leadership, and customer ownership. Cisco network engineering is the non-negotiable baseline; Aruba is a growing part of the estate and full training will be provided. If you're a hands‑on CCNP engineer ready to be the authority on a service, this is worth a conversation.
