Tutor Doctor Buckinghamshire is searching for dedicated and passionate English Private Tutors to join our team and help students achieve their academic goals.
As an English Private Tutor, you will provide one-on-one support to students of varying ages and skill levels, tailoring your teaching methods to meet each individual student’s needs. This role is perfect for those who enjoy making a positive impact on students' lives through education and have a solid understanding of the English curriculum.
We offer a flexible schedule that allows you to choose your working hours, making it easy to balance this role with other commitments. You'll be able to tutor in the comfort of your students' homes or online, ensuring a personalized and engaging learning experience.

Requirements
* You must possess a strong knowledge of the English language and curriculum.
* You should have experience in tutoring or teaching English, ideally with a proven track record of helping students improve.
* Qualifications such as a degree in English or a related field, or a teaching qualification are desirable.
* You need to be eligible to work in the UK.
* You should have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.
* Having an up-to-date DBS/CRB check is essential (we can assist you in obtaining this).
* You must have a reliable mode of transportation to travel to students’ homes if needed.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred.

As a self-employed tutor, you choose which students you want to accept, and your own hours. Yet, you have the backing of a reputable agency that does not simply make introductions but can offer guidance on the curriculum and teaching materials to ensure you are fully prepared.
All Tutor Doctor clients have been visited and vetted by ourselves, so you know tutoring is safe and that the student and family are fully committed. We handle all contracts, so you are given long-term assignments, and are paid monthly and on time. Hourly rates are £20 - £25 according to experience, qualifications, and the level you will be teaching. Slightly higher rates of around £30 an hour would be considered for exceptionally qualified, highly experienced candidates.
