Job Description
We are seeking a forward thinking Private Client Tax Manager to join our collaborative close knit team based in Tunbridge Wells. If you looking for a role focusing on Private Client work and are keen to grow and develop with the team around you then this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of personal clients with complex tax affairs, high net worth individuals with a focus on private equity executives, entrepreneurs, and trusts.
* Proactively liaise with clients on advisory matters & maintain strong client relationships.
* Assisting Partners and Directors in, and where appropriate, by leading tax planning projects such as succession planning using trusts and corporate structures, capital gains and inheritance tax issues
* Assist with managing junior member of staff including helping them with technical and personal development. You will have access to a pool of Associates and Assistant Managers who will be responsible for preparing the work and getting first drafts ready for you to review.
* Stay abreast of tax laws and regulations, applying knowledge to deliver innovative solutions to client.
Qualifications
Key Skills and Experience
* Significant private client tax experience gained within a professional practice.
* knowledge of private client tax issues and dealing with complex capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering tax planning/advisory projects.
* Demonstrable experience of managing complex compliance issues.
* People management and organisational
Professional Qualifications and Education
* Qualified Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser
