Role: Temporary Welder
Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE
Hours: 37 hours per week | between 06:30 and 16:00 Monday to Thursday
Hourly rate: Up to £18.26 ph DOE
Are you a skilled fabricator with a passion for precision and quality? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Welder / Fitter to join our Production team in Warwick!
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for welding and fitting components to exacting standards, ensuring all work meets build specifications and quality expectations in line with BS EN ISO 9001.
Responsibilities
* Carry out MIG and MAG welding on medium-heavy steel fabrications (2mm–10mm)
* Build and tack weld fabrications from engineering drawings
* Identify and correct visual faults in fabrications
* Promote a proactive approach to quality and team collaboration
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, using PPE appropriately
* Support team leaders with recovery programmes and continuous improvement
* Be flexible in moving between departments and learning new skills
Qualifications
* Experience in MIG & MAG welding and medium-heavy steel fabrication
* Welding/fabrication qualifications and relevant training
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and build specifications
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Self-disciplined, punctual, and reliable
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and areas
* Ability to work in confined spaces and perform occasional heavy lifting
* BSEN 287 coded welding and pendant crane operation are desirable
