DegreeSix is a specialist agency, working solely with Residential & Supported Living services for Young People [aged 6 – ] in some of the top private Social Care providers in the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire area.
This role is an agency, 0-hour, support worker role offering flexibility to pick and choose shifts among various companies [unfortunately, we do not offer guaranteed work].
We are looking for support workers who have the knowledge, compassion, patience, and understanding to support, enrich, and promote the independence of vulnerable Young People.
* Emotional and Challenging Behaviours (EBD)
* Learning Disabilities (LD) & Autism
* Mental Health (MH) – Self-harm & Suicide risk among others
What does the role include?
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive living environment through domestic tasks
* Following care plans and safeguarding practices
* Engaging in fun and educational activities to develop interests and hobbies
* Participating in day trips such as theme parks, seaside visits, parks, and more
* Promoting independence and providing emotional support

Requirements to join DegreeSix:
