An exciting opportunity has arisen for warehouse operatives to join Booker on a permanent contract with 16 week probationary period. Colleagues will be required to work an average of 40 hours per week.
We are currently looking for experienced HRT (High Reach Truck) drivers with current D1 or D2 licences.

You will be responsible for
14. To receive, pick and load goods correctly in accordance with safe standards of work instructions
15. To operate all manual and mechanical handling equipment correctly and safely to avoid damage to goods, property or people.
16. Daily pre-equipment checks before use, reporting any faults immediately to a manager.
17. Report dangerous stacking, racking damage, obstructions and any other danger or irregularities immediately to a manager.
18. Assist in the issue of any paperwork, documentation as required.
19. Action re-coup of damaged stock as requested by manager.
20. Undergo any training when required by the Company.
21. Any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business.
You will need
Experienced HRT (High Reach Truck) drivers with current D1 or D2 licences.
As a warehouse operative, being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment is essential. You should be hardworking, able to work to set deadlines, and have a professional, positive, organized, and enthusiastic approach. While proven experience in a warehouse environment would be advantageous, it is not essential. You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Remember, the key to success is being self-motivated.
