Join our highly successful fundraising team and use your passion for donor engagement to help end factory farming and build a more compassionate, sustainable world.

About Us:

Compassion in World Farming International is a leading global organisation dedicated to ending factory farming worldwide. Founded in 1967 by Peter Roberts, a British farmer concerned about factory farming, we have made significant progress in abolishing inhumane practices across the UK and Europe over the past 50 years.

Our approach involves campaigning, advocacy, and engagement with policymakers at various levels, building a movement committed to animal welfare and sustainable food systems. Our international headquarters are in Godalming, UK, with teams across 14 countries including the US, Italy, France, and others. This role is part of the Global Fundraising Directorate, comprising over 50 staff members across several countries.

About the Role:

We seek a passionate, experienced fundraiser to develop and manage our international mid-level giving programme, the Circle of Compassion. As the Global Mid-Level Giving Manager, you will own this key fundraising stream, engaging donors giving £1k / $1K / €1k and above annually, and cultivating relationships with major donors giving £10k and above. You will be the primary contact for global Circle donors, creating a community, providing stewardship, and delivering impactful communications.

You will work mainly with UK and US fundraising teams, developing strategies to recruit, retain, and grow our donor community. Collaborating with colleagues across teams, you'll implement innovative campaigns driven by data insights to foster loyalty and increase income. This strategic, hands-on role is ideal for someone skilled in relationship-building, storytelling, and opportunity spotting.

About You:

You should be a confident relationship-builder with a proven track record in fundraising, particularly in mid-level or major giving. You understand donor motivations and excel at personalized stewardship that fosters loyalty and support. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative international environment and can coordinate across teams to execute integrated campaigns.

Excellent communication skills, creativity, data analysis abilities, and a results-oriented mindset are essential. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on donor experience and income growth.

Why Should You Apply:

Join us to be part of a global movement committed to ending factory farming and promoting a fairer, sustainable food system. You will work within a supportive, mission-driven team that values integrity, collaboration, and compassion for animals, the planet, and each other.

Benefits include:

* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Comprehensive benefits like Health Cash Back Plan
* MHFA support, 24/7 GP access, Employee Assistance Programme
* Free onsite parking and office near mainline station
* Optional savings schemes such as Cycle Benefit
* Fulfilling career with development opportunities
* Hybrid working model (role-dependent)
* Enhanced discretionary sick pay
* Premium Calm App subscription
