Corporate/Commercial 3+ Exeter of Bath
Second hire for an expanding business services business following the appointment of the General Counsel in Q1 2025.
About the Role
Working closely with and reporting to the General Counsel, you will advise a number of SMEs on corporate restructurings, shareholder agreements, divestments, governance, procurement contracts and sales contracts. Hybrid working will be available with this role.
Responsibilities

* Advise SMEs on corporate restructurings
\t
* Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements
\t
* Assist with divestments
\t
* Provide guidance on governance matters
\t
* Review procurement contracts
\t
* Negotiate sales contracts
Qualifications
\t
* Currently working in-house or at a law firm with a minimum of 3+ pqe
Required Skills
\t
* Experience in corporate law
\t
* Exposure to corporate transactions
\t
* Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
\t
* Ability to work as a key member of a collegiate team
Preferred Skills
\t
* Hands-on corporate experience
\t
* Commercial lawyers with a corporate seat are encouraged to apply
