Workforce Planning and Development: • Lead the recruitment, retention, development, and performance management of the nursing and clinical workforce. • Champion professional education, clinical supervision, revalidation, and leadership development. • Ensure workforce models are safe, sustainable, and support advanced roles such as ANPs, nurse prescribers, and specialist practitioners. Patient Safety, Experience, and Engagement: • Promote a strong safety culture by overseeing compliance with infection prevention, medicines management, falls prevention, pressure ulcer management, and patient observations. • Lead on patient experience initiatives, including feedback analysis, complaint resolution, and patient involvement in service design. • Act as a key point of contact for quality assurance visits, audits, and external inspections (e.g., CQC, accreditation bodies). Financial and Resource Management: • Manage clinical budgets, ensuring effective use of resources while maintaining care quality. • Contribute to business planning, cost improvement initiatives, and procurement decisions. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), clinical metrics, and workforce data to inform service planning. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: • Work closely with the Executive Director, Medical Director, and senior leadership team to align clinical operations with corporate strategy. • Develop strong partnerships with external stakeholders, including commissioners, regulators, professional bodies, and academic institutions
