Based in their residential community, you will work with young people aged 10-18 in their specialist residential home for young people aged eight to eighteen with complex needs, and behaviours that may challenge. The Residential Support Worker role requires full commitment; this is a serious career path that requires self-sacrifice in order to ensure the young people are always put first and receive the support they need. The job will involve days only working long days, alternate weekends, sleep-ins, sometimes you will need to stay beyond your shift ending to ensure safe handover or bedtime routines.
