Job Summary
The Warehouse Operative is skilled in all departments of the warehouse, enabling them to provide additional support and input into teams where the operation requires it. Attention to detail is crucial, as well as the desire to learn new and varying processes.
Responsibilities
* To audit and make sure that all stock booked in is in a suitable condition to resell before being stocked
* To put away all stock using Datalinx software, accurately inputting the bin locations for each part to enable everyone in the business to locate any part in stock efficiently, as necessary, using NetSuite
* Provide the Sales team with specific product data, such as serial numbers and firmware revisions
* Checking all parts for any issues, such as damage or discrepancies against the purchase order, liaising with the Sales team and managers to address any issues
* Using courier software to facilitate the correct shipment details for each parcel
* Packaging the purchased goods to the company standard for daily courier collection
* Processing and refurbishing purchased stock to company standards for reselling
* Assist in general cleanliness and tidying of the warehouse
* As the company culture promotes helping others, ad hoc tasks may be assigned to the job holder that are not listed above
* The job holder is expected to understand and work according to the requirements of the Techbuyer Quality Management System
