Overview
You will be part of a team within our Estates & Facilities department, offering a high quality, flexible and customer focused service. We are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude, who are cheerful, reliable and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the patient and customer experience is the best it can be. The Domestic Housekeeper is an important member of the team who supports the wards and maintains safe, high quality standards of service.
Responsibilities
* Assist with completing patient menus, prepare and serve patient breakfasts and provide hot & cold refreshments at regular intervals.
* Carry out daily cleaning of equipment and patient kitchen areas, ensuring fridge temperatures are taken and recorded accurately.
* Maintain stock levels and rotate food items.
* Work as part of a team and use initiative to prioritise and organise daily duties while maintaining a professional approach at all times.
* Adhere to set procedures and standards and contribute to a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday 07:30 – 13:00 (25 hours)
- Saturday to Sunday 07:30 – 13:00 (10 hours)
Must be flexible to cover bank holidays if required.
Requirements
* Can-do attitude, cheerful and customer-focused with an understanding of good customer service.
* Responsible, reliable, and able to work under pressure and within strict time frames.
* Commitment to Health and Safety standards.
* Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate initiative to prioritise daily duties.
