The Role
As Senior Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal part in managing the full credit control function. You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely payment of invoices, managing complex accounts, and supporting continuous improvement within the finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing end‑to‑end credit control processes
Managing a portfolio of key accounts with professionalism and commercial awareness
Reducing aged debt and improving overall debtor performance
Investigating and resolving payment queries and disputed invoices
Monitoring customer credit limits and conducting credit checks
Producing aged debtor reports and presenting to senior stakeholders
Supporting other team members and contributing to process improvements
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are:
An experienced Credit Controller with strong senior‑level capability
Confident in managing high‑value and high‑volume ledgers
Skilled in negotiation, problem‑solving and building long‑term customer relationships
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Proficient in Excel and experienced with finance/accounting systems
