Support Worker
Pay Rate - £12.50 - £12.82 per hour (Full-Time, 33 - 44 hours per week) We are currently recruiting Full Time Support Workers to support individuals with Mental health,Alzheimer, autism and/or learning disabilities within supported living residences based in Castleford, Wakefield and and Healthcare assistants for our home in Bradford area
Day/night shifts available Long shifts, 12-hour shifts, so you will need to be available to work a variety of shifts across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays according to service user needs. Shift patterns are based around service user needs so our ideal candidate will be flexible. The normal working pattern is 36 hours worked over a 7 day period.

You'll support them to flourish in a place they call home. You'll empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives You'll give high-quality support tailored to people's needs You'll provide personal care including support with continence needs; health and medication needs; handling personal possessions; finances and d Provide psychological, emotional, and physical support to service users. Enable access to the community, support with appointments, and encourage meaningful social interactions. Identify and report any concerns, ensuring a safe and safeguarding-compliant environment. You'll follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support Maintain positive relationships with family members, friends, and external professionals. Encourage and support independent living skills where possible.
What you need for the role: Right to work in the UK for at least one year, no sponsorship provided Live in the area or willing to commute/relocate Experience with mental health, brain injury, Alzheimer ,Autism & Learning Disabilities residents is desirable A patient, empathetic mindset. A willingness to complete relevant training in health and social care, moving and handling, Positive Behaviour Support and safeguarding, safety, risk management and health protocols. Happy to support clients with intimate and personal care needs. An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
