The Role
Experienced, hands‑on Practice Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations. Operational heartbeat of the clinic, responsible for the team, the numbers, and the client experience. Direct line to management with meaningful input into strategic direction.
Responsibilities
* Operations: run the practice across all departments; implement and maintain SOPs; own the appointment book; manage OOH phone system.
* People: line manage reception and clinical support; lead recruitment and onboarding; drive staff retention.
* Finance: manage OpEx and clinic budget; hit revenue and EBITDA targets with CFO; report KPIs weekly.
* Client Experience: own the client journey; resolve complaints; champion NPS improvement.
Qualifications
* Proven Practice Manager or Senior Practice Administrator experience (veterinary or healthcare)
* Strong people manager — led small‑to‑medium teams
* Financially literate — comfortable reading a P&L
* Calm under pressure, solutions‑focused, highly organised
* Excellent communicator across all levels
* Veterinary PMS experience (IDEXX, Vetspace, or similar)
