Security Vetting Administrator

Suffolk

An opportunity has arisen for a Security Vetting Administrator to join the team at Galliford Try. The Security Vetting Administrator will work within the Security Management Team to ensure that Security Vetting Applications are processed in an accurate, timely and confidential manner, ensuring compliance with legislation standards and company procedures.

Ideally, you will be based in or around Suffolk and will have opportunity to travel to Sites across the area. Please note time on Site, Site visits and travel to and from Site is estimated to form around % of the working week for this post.

You Will:

1. Process new vetting applications within the timescales specified.

2. Work proactively to ensure that candidates are security cleared as quickly as possible.

3. Communicate and liaise effectively with all personnel, contractors, business partners and key stakeholders.

4. Assist with the management of the aftercare vetting processes for the required clearance level.

5. Ensure accuracy, diplomacy and data protection is maintained when collecting and processing personal data.

6. Provide help and guidance to candidates and when necessary, chase candidates for additional information.

7. Provide help, support and guidance on Security Vetting to other business areas as required.

8. Any other duties as required by the Security Management Team/Defence department

About You:

9. Previous experience in an administrative role essential.

10. Previous experience working with sensitive personal data desirable.

11. Currently hold or willing to attain SC security clearance (requires minimum years UK residency)

12. Previous MOJ project experience desirable.
