We're currently recruiting a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Understand and deliver all contractual terms.
* Communicate any on-site client changes to line manager.
* Communicate regularly with client (as agreed).
* Communicate regularly with sub-contractors (as agreed).
* Promote the accommodation and amenity units and act as a Compass Advocate at all times.
* Ensure all services are delivered to the correct standard.
* Look for opportunities to develop our service.
* Seek ways to improve work activities and promote efficiency.
* Develop contract specifications and SLAs to ensure optimal service delivery.
* Report health and safety issues, including accidents and near misses.
* Promote good safety habits and safe systems of work.
* Deliver training on machinery operation, ensuring safety and compliance.
* Ensure staff are suitably qualified and experienced.
* Ensure the availability of trained staff at the right times.
* Identify and predict resource shortfalls and excesses, with recommendations.
* Manage succession planning, both long and short term.
* Oversee staff reporting, appraisals, team briefs, and set standards and expectations.
* Motivate staff and foster cross-team cooperation.
* Manage current expenditure and ensure value for money.
* Maintain auditable records.

Essential:
* Possess excellent customer-facing, people, and operational management skills.
* Have attention to detail and accuracy.
* Have team management experience, including performance management, coaching, and monitoring service contracts.
* Be well-presented, polite, and professional.
* Have excellent customer service skills.
* Be a strong team player.
* Experience working within a corporate Health & Safety culture.
* Experience with Financial Controls.
* FM experience is essential.
* Driving license is essential.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in Aviation.
* Experience with maintenance software.
* Knowledge of transport management systems.
* Experience managing multiple sites with Compass.
