Job Title: Technical Service Specialist
Location: Greenford, London
We are a global manufacturer of entertainment technology products, looking for a skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our Technical Services team. This role is crucial in supporting our customers and ensuring our products continue to deliver top performance through expert repair, troubleshooting, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming product repairs and determine repair or replacement
* Diagnose and fix technical issues with company products
* Document repairs and communicate with customers on progress
* Support customers by phone and email
* Work with internal teams to process RMA returns
* Configure new equipment and apply Engineering Change Orders
* Assist in trade show setup and attend events if needed
* Maintain demo and loaner equipment
* Report quality or service issues
* Train staff, technicians, and customers on product repairs
* Support product testing for R&D and field technical support as required
Requirements:
* Technical degree in Electronics or equivalent
* 3–5 years of experience in electronics repair (preferred)
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Able to work independently and travel within Europe as needed
* Knowledge of PCB, electronics, and reading schematics (preferred)
* Manual dexterity and soldering skills
* Familiar with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
* Computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Physically able to lift up to 23 kg
