Edward H. Marston & Company Ltd is a well-established, independent property management and lettings firm based in Coventry. With over 110 years of history, we specialise in residential lettings and block management, delivering professional and personalised service to landlords, tenants, and freeholders throughout Coventry and Warwickshire.
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Assistant Property Manager to support our experienced team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
Working closely with our Property Managers, you will play a key supporting role in the day-to-day management of our residential lettings and managed blocks portfolio. Responsibilities will include:
· Assisting with tenant enquiries, viewings, check-ins, and check-outs
· Coordinating maintenance and repairs with contractors
· Conducting property inspections and preparing reports
· Ensuring compliance with block legislation and health & safety requirements
· Handling general administration, including updating records and preparing documentation
· Building positive relationships with tenants, landlords, and leaseholders

About You
We are looking for candidates with some experience in residential property or a customer-facing/administrative role. The ideal candidate will have:
· At least 1–2 years' experience in residential lettings, property management, or a related field (e.g., estate agency or customer service)
· Good working knowledge of lettings processes and legislation (training provided where needed)
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
· Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential – mileage reimbursed)
· ARLA/Propertymark qualification is desirable but not essential (full support offered for professional development)
Local knowledge of Coventry and Warwickshire is a significant advantage, and we particularly welcome applications from candidates based in the area.
What We Offer
· Competitive salary of £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
