As an ASIC Design engineer, you will work in Edinburgh, a city known for its stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant cultural scene. The city offers a blend of old and new, with excellent amenities and transport links.
The Role
Join a company providing a broad range of IP, including CPUs, DSPs, memory and IO controllers, hardware accelerators, and subsystem solutions, used across the semiconductor industry in billions of chips.
You will develop and design reference systems for applications such as Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Radar, Automotive, and high-performance domains. The role requires strong experience in IP integration and SoC/compute system implementation, collaborating closely with development teams.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and debug SoC reference systems.
* Integrate compute, memory, and interface IP in system designs.
* Analyze IP products and implementation flows.
* Apply best practices in hardware design and verification to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Requirements:
* BS in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science with 8+ years’ experience, or MS with 5+ years’ experience.
* At least 5 years of ASIC design AND verification experience.
* Expertise in processor design, on-chip communication, high-speed interfaces, or chiplets.
* Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog for coding and verification.
* RTL design techniques experience.
* Experience with UVM for ASIC verification.
* FPGA or emulation experience is desirable.
