Estimator - New Build Housing
East Midlands/hybrid
Up to £65,000 + package
Kitson Associates is pleased to be EXCLUSIVELY working with a leading housebuilder who is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their small established East Midlands team.
Role and Responsibilities
* The Estimator will set, agree, review and deliver targets, along with producing accurate and timely reports for the business
* Identify, escalate and manage any commercial issues
* Responsible for the preparation of cost plans for both the appraisal of development opportunities and land acquisition itself.
* Work closely with both internal and external customers
* Ensure that all estimating work required to deliver the budget is completed accurately
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years of Estimating experience working for a UK housebuilder/main contractor
* Confident in building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
* Solutions-focused and work in a straightforward way to ensure the commercial team meets its targets.
Education & qualifications
RICS and a surveying degree or HND
