The Opportunity
Edinburgh College of Art is seeking to appoint an individual for a part-time post for a Teaching Fellow in Graphic Design, who will be able to deliver high-quality teaching provision. The post-holder will contribute to the programme vision for delivering innovative teaching. Applicants should demonstrate a significant track record of achievement in design theory and practical studio teaching. This post will place a focus across UG and PG teaching provision. Skills And Attributes For Success
* Master’s degree (PG) and Undergraduate degree in combination with extensive industry experience in Graphic Design or a related subject.
* Demonstrable industry lead expertise will also be considered.
* Experience of teaching and educational administration in higher/further education.
* A historical, theoretical and contextual understanding of the discipline.
* Professional graphic design industry experience, or experience as a practitioner.
* Clear communicator with passion for teaching graphic design.
* Ability to work successfully as part of a team.
* Ability to organise, prioritise and manage time effectively.
* Demonstrable commitment to a diverse and inclusive working environment
