Fall Protection Installation & Inspection Engineer at NSS Group
Part of NSS Testing
We’re looking for a skilled and flexible Fall Protection Installation & Inspection Engineer to join our growing NSS Testing team. You’ll carry out vital safety equipment inspections and installations across various sites, helping us uphold our reputation for excellence in safety and compliance.
Flexibility is key – this role may involve night work, weekends, and overnight stays when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of height safety systems, including:
1. Fall arrest and life safety lines
2. Eyebolts (fall restraint and abseil)
3. Gantries and walkways
4. Guardrails
5. Fixed and portable ladder
6. General lifting equipment
7. Ensure all work is compliant with British Standards and health & safety regulations
8. Identify and report additional works required following inspections or repairs
9. Support other NSS divisions when needed

Requirements required:
* Smart and professional appearance and manner
* Full, clean driving license
* Experience / competency to work at height
* Relevant experience working in a similar role
* Must have the ability to work productively on your own or within a team
* The candidate must have good communication skills, be well organised and have good attention to detail
