What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Lead and deliver site investigations, from scoping to reporting
2. Produce detailed geotechnical designs (earthworks, slopes, retaining structures, settlement assessments)
3. Write clear, insightful interpretative reports and design appraisals
4. Oversee subcontractors, manage H&S compliance, and support planning applications
5. Share your knowledge by mentoring junior engineers and collaborating cross-functionally
What You’ll Bring:
6. A degree in Geology, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (MSc a bonus)
7. Ideally, 4–5+ years of UK ground investigation and geotechnical design experience
8. Proficiency with software like Geo5, Holebase, QGIS or AutoCAD (training available)
9. Sound knowledge of UK regs, BS codes, and site-based methodologies
10. Full UK driving licence and valid CSCS card (or willingness to train)
