Accountant – Financial Planning & Analysis
Hybrid – Crawley

We are currently supporting a client in Crawley who is looking to appoint an Accountant – Financial Planning & Analysis on an 18-month contract basis. This role will sit within the finance team and support financial planning, reporting, analysis, and business decision-making across key operational areas.
This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of office and remote working.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple cost centres
* Extract, analyse, and interpret financial data to support business planning
* Produce management information and reporting packs for internal stakeholders
* Work closely with finance and non-finance teams to improve reporting accuracy and financial visibility
* Support month-end and year-end processes
* Maintain and improve financial models, reports, and planning tools
* Assist with system and process improvements across finance reporting activities
Skills & Experience Required
* Recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong Excel capability, including pivot tables, data extraction, and basic financial analysis
* Previous experience using Oracle Hyperion
* Proven experience working with ERP systems, ideally Baan or SAP
* Strong financial reporting and analytical capability
* Ability to manage and interpret large volumes of financial data accurately
* Comfortable working across multiple systems and stakeholders
Desirable
* Previous experience using SharePoint
* Exposure to Power BI reporting
* Experience working in a complex corporate or international finance environment
