Typical Responsibilties
* Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeting the data centre market.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, partnerships, and projects within the data centre vertical.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including end users, data centre operators, facility managers, consultants, and contractors.
* Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose customised fire and security solutions that meet data centre requirements and industry standards.
* Lead negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting data centre security and fire protection.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums relevant to data centres.
* Provide regular sales forecasts, and quarterly market insight reports.
* Work closely with marketing to develop vertical-specific campaigns.
