What Will You Be Doing As A Customer Consultant?
* Be the first point of contact: warmly welcome customers in‑branch and over the phone, creating a positive first impression.
* Engage and understand: ask insightful questions to uncover customers’ needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Listen and tailor solutions: carefully review each customer’s circumstances to recommend the best outcomes.
* Proactive outreach: contact customers by phone to identify needs and discuss how we can support them.
* Maintain accurate records: use internal systems to keep customer records up to date and identify vulnerable customers.
* Adhere to policies: understand and comply with our policies, standards and controls, supported by training and coaching.
What Do We Need From You?
* Previous experience interacting with customers, preferably in a bank, building society or contact centre.
* Experience in retail, food & beverage, guest services, health/care, or similar sectors.
* Passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
* Ability to work well with others, demonstrating a ‘one‑team’ mindset.
* Capacity to react quickly during busy periods and manage a wide range of customers efficiently.
* Willingness to grow, adapt and change in response to business needs and priorities.
