Role: Section Engineer
Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Day rate: £400 - £450 PAYE
Randstad are currently looking for a Section Engineer to work on a large scale civil engineering scheme based in Oxfordshire.
1. Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to coordinate construction activities and resolve any technical issues.
3. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement or optimisation
4. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including site reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings
5. Provide technical guidance and support to site staff, facilitating effective communication and teamwork throughout the project life cycle.
Qualifications & Experience:
6. Degree qualified or other relevant qualification
7. SMSTS (Preferred)
8. CSCS Card
9. Proficient in health & safety
10. Proven experience working as a Section Engineer
11. Strong civils background - earthworks / drainage etc.
