About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Foundation team as a Insights and Impact Manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the LFC Foundation can demonstrate the impact of its work to a wide range of stakeholders including staff, trustees, funders and the communities in which the Foundation operates.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience managing evaluation and research projects and extensive knowledge of using data systems such as Salesforce and Power Bi. You will be passionate and knowledgeable about different approaches and methods to obtain both quantitative and qualitative data.

What will you be doing?

* Lead the design and delivery of monitoring and evaluation frameworks across funded programmes.
* Support programme teams in developing and assessing impactful initiatives using robust research and evidence.
* Contribute to the Foundation’s Evidence-Based Practice and Impact Strategy, driving continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
* Conduct research and analyse performance data to generate insights that inform programme delivery, policy, and communications.
* Manage data systems and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of insights.
* Deliver training on data collection, analysis, and reporting, and support the creation of compelling case studies.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal departments and external networks, ensuring stakeholder engagement and sector alignment.
* Line manage team members and support student placements and research projects.
* Uphold safeguarding and ethical standards across all research and data activities, ensuring inclusive and accessible reporting.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent data collection, analysis, and reporting skills, with the ability to tailor insights for diverse audiences. You will be proficient in maintaining monitoring systems and databases, ensuring high standards through regular audits. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, along with a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in evaluating data and impact measurement. You should bring advanced computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SPSS. A solid understanding of data management and reporting terminology is key, as is the ability to present findings in clear, compelling formats. Project management capabilities, stakeholder engagement, safeguarding awareness, and a willingness to travel across sites are also required. An enhanced DBS check will be necessary for this role.

Why should you apply?

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be at Anfield sports and Community Centre.

To reward your hard work and commitment we offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays and the option to purchase up to an additional 5 days) and a contributory pension scheme.

You will have access to our benefits kit bag where you can get high street discounts, and a selection of benefit schemes you can join. There are opportunities to get involved with volunteering through our LFC Foundation to give back to the local community.

At Liverpool Football Club, we have an unwavering commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and are always looking to making a positive difference in the communities that we operate within. We are proud of our achievements in this area; maintaining the Premier League Equality Standard Advanced Level, becoming a founding signatory of the Football Association’s Football Leadership Diversity Code and being recognised as a leader in this important area on and off the pitch. We take our responsibilities in this area seriously and through the work being done across the club, we are committed to increasing the diversity of our people and becoming an increasingly inclusive workplace for all. We are committed to hiring great people representative of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skills across our entire business. If you share our enthusiasm and passion for inclusivity, then we want to hear from you.

Liverpool FC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all Colleagues and Volunteers to share this commitment. This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
