As a Senior Planning Officer, you will contribute directly to economic growth, housing delivery, and regeneration schemes. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of planning services. You will work closely with the Principal Planning Officer and Development Management Lead to deliver quality outcomes and foster a positive, collaborative approach across the Planning team.
This is a career-graded role with opportunities to progress from Planning Officer to Senior Planning Officer. Applicants interested in all levels of the role are encouraged to apply.

Salaries are as follows:
* Planning Officer - £31,586 - £35,235 per annum
* Senior Planning Officer - £36,124 - £40,476 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse range of cases, including major developments, supporting economic growth, regeneration, and housing projects.
* Provide planning advice to stakeholders, developers, members, and residents.
* Represent the Planning Service at committee meetings and appeals as required.
* Strive to deliver excellent customer service by providing honest, professional, and reliable advice to stakeholders and customers.
This position is a shared role within the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and is part of the S113 agreement between participating Councils, in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement dated 1st October 2021.
