SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant (EYFS) Liverpool

Daily Rate: GBP105–GBP115 (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a Liverpool primary school.

The Role
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs (SEND).
* Assist with academic, social, and emotional development in line with EYFS curriculum.
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to provide tailored support.
* Use strategies to promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience supporting children with SEND in EYFS/Primary settings.
* Understanding of EYFS framework and child-centred learning.
* Ability to build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
* Patient, caring, and adaptable to individual needs.
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Professional references covering the last two years.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Relevant experience in a SEND or EYFS setting.
