Job Description
* Adopt an HR consultant/HR business partner approach to delivering HR services to all sites within remit
* Responsible for providing proactive, effective and efficient HR advice, coaching and guidance to senior management, line managers and staff within a multi-site unionised environment
* Work closely with senior managers to develop and drive people plans aimed at promoting an engaged and highly productive workforce
* Achieving all objectives both strategic and operational
* Leading/driving talent mapping, development, succession planning projects to meet business/HR strategy
* Lead and deliver HR projects and change initiatives in relation to sites
* Be the HR lead to the sites employee recognition programs
* Support the talent acquisition process, providing HR support to the recruitment process
* Manage a range of escalated complex casework (Absence, disciplinary and grievance) and ensuring that cases are managed effectively to deliver optimum outcomes whilst keeping abreast of any associated risks
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor FTC should have:
* A degree in Human Resources or related field.
* CIPD qualified or working toward
* Proven experience in the Manufacturing sector.
* In-depth knowledge of NI employment/labour law and HR best practices.
* Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
* Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
