Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only + 10 days (40 weeks)
Salary: £26,690 to £27,577
About the School
Outwood Academy Valley has 1,500 students aged 11 to 16 and shares a Post 16 Centre with Outwood Academy Portland. The Post 16 Centre is just a two‑minute walk from the school. Both sites have excellent facilities providing a bright and motivational learning and working environment. About the Role
Outwood Academy Valley is looking for a Learning Manager to support learning through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring to maximise student attainment.
* Work closely with the Inclusion Coordinator and the Leadership Team to improve student behaviour, attendance and outcomes.
* Monitor and support all students in the year group, both academically and behaviourally.
* Lead by example and be able to work on your own initiative.
* Deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner.
* Be extremely well organized, prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met.
