We’re currently seeking a Sous Chef with at least 1 year of experience to join our dynamic kitchen team at No1a Duke Street, part of the Portobello Pub Company, operating over 20 vibrant venues across London. About the Role: As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to bring their energy and creativity to a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes Oversee kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management Help train and motivate junior kitchen staff Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment What We’re Looking For: Minimum 1 year experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role Strong leadership and communication skills Passion for fresh ingredients and seasonal menus Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team A positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer: TRONC of minimum 9K on top of your base salary.
