Description
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes effectively and efficiently.
Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Monitor cash flow and provide regular financial updates to management.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors as required.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
Support the wider Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.Profile
A successful Company Accountant should have:
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
Proven experience in financial reporting and general ledger management.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
