Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.We are looking for General Operatives to work in our Extrusion department based in **Edlington.****Key Responsibilities:*** Ensure the production line is running correctly and efficiently throughout the shift and report any issues to Supervisors/Management* Monitor the performance of the extrusion machine ensuring minimum scrap level is achieved at all times* Ensure that all aspects of H&S policies and procedures are complied with in all daily activities* Maintaining a clean and safe environment to a high standard* You will be required to stand for long periods with some manual handling duties.**Working hours & Benefits:*** £13.45 per hour plus £3.00 for hours worked between 10:00pm & 6:00am (totalling £16.45 per hour)* Hours of work: 3 on 3 off days & nights, 6:00am - 6:00pm / 6:00pm - 6:00am* Save as you earn Sharesave Scheme* Contributory pension scheme - matched up to 8%* Life assurance (linked to pension scheme membership)* Cycle to work scheme* Free flu vouchers* Various health & wellbeing initiatives including complimentary occupational health on-site physiotherapy and counselling services* Staff discount on all Genuit Group products* Free on-site parkingHere at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool.
