We have a full time, permanent opportunity for a waking night youth support worker, based at our 2 bedded children’s residential home in Brackley, Northamptonshire. The home supports young children between the ages of 5 - 12 and currently has 1 child living at the home at present who loves taking part in physical activities, especially basketball!
Staff are required to drive our company vehicle for school runs, taking to and from activities etc, therefore drivers with a full UK driver’s license is essential.
Waking night support workers, play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and young people throughout the night. You will be there to offer comfort, manage night-time routines, and address any issues, which may arise, creating a peaceful and secure environment for everyone.
You will liaise with day shift staff to ensure a thorough handover of any issues or incidents, which may have occurred during the night.
We are looking for are individuals who are passionate about providing care and support to children and young people who require social, emotional, and mental health support.
Previous experience supporting individuals with ADHD / Autism would be an advantage, however, is not essential.
