Job Title: Video Editor (UK only). Please note this role is an employed role. We are not currently seeking a freelancer to work with.
Salary: £32,000 per year
Holiday: 28 days per year, including bank holidays, plus the weird bit in between Christmas and New Year
Location: Remote (UK)
Overview
As a Video Editor at Jammy Digital, you’ll be responsible for editing both short-form and long-form videos.
We need someone who can do more than just follow instructions; we need a creative thinker who can independently identify the best parts of footage and assemble them into engaging videos.
We’re looking for a self-starter who can handle various video projects from start to finish without needing step-by-step guidance.
Responsibilities
Video editing: Edit high-quality video content from raw material
Identify good material: find good video content from raw footage
Finishing: Colour-correct footage and mix audio to deliver polished, professional videos
Branding: Keep a consistent look, feel, and brand identity across every project
Collaboration: Work closely with our creative lead, applying their advice to ensure your edits meet our strategic objectives
Project Management: Manage multiple video projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet high standards
Content Optimisation: Optimise video content for various platforms
Skills and Requirements
Proven experience: 2+ years of professional experience managing both short-form and long-form projects, ideally B2B
Technical proficiency: High proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro (or your preferred tool of choice)
Initiative: The ability to work independently and proactively
Deadline-Oriented: Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Attention to detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure all aspects of video production meet quality standards
